As a designer you will most likely use stockphoto’s for some of your designs or even buy some. In this article I will write down my personal top 5 stock photo websites I use. Some are free to use while others need you to register or to pay. It’s up to you which ones you will use but I could recoment every single one of them.

after months of waiting on Snow Leopard it finally arrived. expectations were high but after installing it many people got bummed by the fact that there isn’t a great difference. it seems just like a update more then a big improvement. Hopefully some time in the future apple will bring out some changes to the operating system that 98% of the people will actually notice. Allthough apple did anounce that snow leopard was really a performance update I think many people will agree that they expected more of it. Read more »

This week TomTom 4 the iphone arrived in the AppStore. I myself used Navigon for a while on my iPhone and very happy about that piece of software. I always used TomTom before and it worked really nice for me. Now I decided to put the main pro’s and con’s online here on this blog for you to help.

TomTom has anounced that they will present the future of navigation on september 22nd. You might think that this will surely be the new iPhone navigation software which was due to be launched this summer. But we can only wait and see what happens.

“TomTom will reveal the future of navigation to you” on Tuesday, the 22nd of September (from 10.30 am until 2 pm)… Save the date!”

Op dit moment ben ik hard bezig met het implementeren van wordpress als een goed werkend CMS binnen een normale website, niet alleen om dus als blog te kunnen gebruiken, maar ook om aan evt toekomstige klanten te kunnen aanbieden. Het grote voordeel van Wordpress is dat klanten die ook maar een klein beetje met een computer om kunnen gaan op deze manier hun eigen site al zelfstandig kunnen beheren.

Zoals al in een eerder artikel beschreven is het ook de bedoeling dat ik op dit blog een sectie ga maken met daarin tutorials op het gebied van grafisch ontwerp en webdesign. Mijn persoonlijke ervaringen zijn erg positief met screencasting(wat is screencasting) waarbij er ondertussen uitleg wordt gegeven. Mijn idee is dat ik in de toekomst een eigen tutorial/screencasting sectie ga maken. Mochten jullie een voorkeur hebben voor bepaald werk dat door mij is gemaakt op www.design-works.nl geef dit dan door hier onderaan deze pagina.

Een aantal maanden geleden ben ik eindelijk overgestapt van een windows XP pc naar de MAC. Nu mag het duidelijk zijn dat apple zich ook in europa eindelijk beter gaat positioneren.
